OCSiAl Delegation Visits and Works with PV PAINT

Recently, the OCSiAl Group visited and held a working session with the Management Board and the R&D engineering team of Petrovietnam Paint Joint Stock Company (PV PAINT) at the Petrovietnam Paint Factory. The meeting aimed to discuss potential cooperation opportunities and evaluate the application results of OCSiAl’s products in PV PAINT’s products.

The meeting commenced with a presentation by Mr. Albert Lin, OCSiAl’s representative for Taiwan region, who introduced the Group’s strategic products and manufacturing capabilities. This was followed by a presentation from Ms. Eugene Tan, OCSiAl’s representative for Southeast Asia region, who shared research findings and application results of TUBALL™ MATRIX 203, the product currently being utilized by PV PAINT in the nano-carbon paint research program.

During the meeting, PV PAINT’s R&D engineers presented the testing results achieved through the application of TUBALL™ MATRIX 203, while also discussing issues encountered during laboratory testing and practical production processes.

OCSiAl highly appreciated the testing results obtained by PV PAINT, noting that they were consistent with the Group’s research expectations. Ms. Eugene Tan, OCSiAl’s representative for Southeast Asia region, together with Mr. Dang Ngoc Anh Tuan, Director of Mercury Chemical – the official representative of OCSiAl in Vietnam, committed to promptly reporting the meeting outcomes to OCSiAl Group so that appropriate technical solutions could be provided to support PV PAINT in the shortest possible time.

Following the in-depth discussions, the OCSiAl delegation toured the Petrovietnam Paint Factory to gain a better understanding of PV PAINT’s manufacturing process, quality control procedures covering from raw materials to finished products, and the Company’s specialized laboratory facilities.

The visit provided OCSiAl with a further insight into PV PAINT’s capabilities while opening up further discussions on potential collaboration in the research, application, and development of advanced coating technologies.
