Participants of the Short-Term Training Course in Paint Technology and Coating Materials visited the Petrovietnam Paint Factory

On the morning of 9th October 2026, participants of the Short-Term Training Course in Paint Technology and Coating Materials, organized by the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology – University of Science, Vietnam National University of HCM City, visited the Petrovietnam Paint Factory (PV PAINT) for practical learning experience.

At the factory, Mr. Vu Duy Cuong – General Director of PV PAINT welcomed the participant group and provided an overview of the Company’s production activities and development orientations. The visit offered participants an opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to paint manufacturing processes.

Following the introduction, the General Director of PV PAINT personally guided the group through production areas, including the paint manufacturing factory, raw material warehouse, and powder coating factory. At each location, participants had the opportunity to observe the equipment, gain practical insights into manufacturing procedures and quality control processes at the Factory.

After the factory tour, Mr. Vu Duy Cuong shared practical experience in paint research, manufacturing, and product development. He also offered together with professional advices regarding professional areas of the business for participants. These insights helped participants gain a more practical perspective on the knowledge acquired during the short-term training course in Paint technology and Coating materials.

As the visit came to an end, Representatives of the participant group expressed gratitude to PV PAINT and presented a commemorative gift to Mr. Vu Duy Cuong in appreciation of the Company’s warm welcome and the professional insights shared by the Company’s General Director.

The visit not only provided an opportunity for knowledge exchange and the sharing of practical experience, but also strengthening the collaboration among the University of Science, VNU-HCM – the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology – PV PAINT, in the field of Paint technology and Coating materials.
